Ticket Sales Agreement and Ticketing Policy

1. Introduction

This Ticket Sales Agreement and Ticketing Policy ("Agreement") governs the purchase, sale, issuance, and use of event tickets through the Someone's Ticket platform, including the website, mobile applications, and associated digital services (collectively referred to as the "Platform"). Someone's Ticket operates as a digital ticketing and event listing platform that enables event organizers to distribute and sell tickets and enables attendees to purchase tickets for cultural, entertainment, educational, corporate, and sporting events. The Platform provides ticket distribution, validation, security, and event discovery services. Event tickets made available through the Platform are organized and produced by third-party event organizers. Use of the Platform and purchase of tickets constitute acceptance of this Agreement, the Platform's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any additional event-specific conditions presented during the ticket purchase process. All electronic ticket purchases conducted through the Platform constitute distance sales transactions in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 14 of 2023 on Electronic Commerce and related implementing regulations.

2. Platform Role and Scope

Someone's Ticket provides technology infrastructure for:

Ticket listing and event discovery
Ticket sales processing
Digital ticket issuance and verification
Ticket security and fraud prevention
Payment processing and ticket delivery

Someone's Ticket acts as a ticketing service provider and distribution platform. Event organizers retain full responsibility for event content, scheduling, event rules, venue policies, pricing, and event execution. Someone's Ticket does not organize events, operate venues, or control event programming unless explicitly stated otherwise for specific events. Event organizers remain solely responsible for:

Event production
Event rules and restrictions
Event schedule and location
Ticket pricing and capacity decisions
Event cancellation or postponement

Someone's Ticket provides ticketing infrastructure enabling organizers to distribute tickets through the Platform.

3. Ticket Purchase Process

Ticket purchases through the Platform require users to review and confirm the event information presented during checkout. The purchase process includes:

Selection of ticket category or seating area
Selection of ticket quantity
Confirmation of ticket price and service fees
Review of event rules and conditions
Payment authorization

Payment completion confirms the ticket purchase and generates an electronic ticket linked to the purchaser's account or email address. Ticket purchases become final upon successful payment authorization.

4. Ticket Usage and Restrictions

Tickets purchased through the Platform grant the holder a right of entry to the event identified on the ticket. Ticket holders must comply with:

Event organizer rules
Venue policies
Applicable safety regulations
Applicable UAE public order and security laws

Tickets may not be used for commercial resale, promotional giveaways, competitions, or marketing purposes unless expressly authorized in writing by the event organizer. Unauthorized resale, ticket scalping, automated purchasing systems, or manipulation of ticket availability may result in ticket cancellation without refund. Someone's Ticket reserves the right to cancel transactions suspected of fraudulent activity or violations of platform rules.

5. Ticket Delivery

Tickets may be delivered through the following methods:

Digital tickets via email
Mobile wallet tickets
Platform account ticket access
QR code entry systems

Ticket holders remain responsible for protecting ticket access credentials. Lost, stolen, copied, or shared tickets may become invalid if duplicated entries are detected during event entry verification. Someone's Ticket uses secure digital ticket validation technologies to prevent unauthorized ticket duplication.

6. Event Changes and Cancellations

Event organizers retain authority over event scheduling and execution. Events may be:

Postponed
Cancelled
Relocated
Modified

In such circumstances, the event organizer determines the applicable refund, replacement, or rescheduling policies. Someone's Ticket communicates event updates to ticket holders using contact details provided during purchase. Ticket holders remain responsible for maintaining accurate contact information to receive event updates.

7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Ticket purchases for scheduled events constitute contracts for leisure services tied to specific dates. Under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, ticket purchases for scheduled entertainment services may be non-refundable once confirmed, except in circumstances including:

Event cancellation
Event postponement
Material event modification

Refund procedures follow the event organizer's policy. Refunds, when applicable, are limited to the ticket face value unless otherwise specified by the organizer. Service, processing, or delivery fees may remain non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

8. Ticket Limits and Purchase Controls

Event organizers may set maximum purchase limits for tickets. Ticket limits may apply per:

User account
Payment method
Household
Identity verification

Someone's Ticket reserves the right to cancel transactions exceeding established ticket limits or violating purchase rules. Automated purchasing tools, bots, scripts, or bulk ticket acquisition methods remain prohibited.

9. Entry Requirements and Venue Rules

Admission to events remains subject to venue and organizer regulations. Entry may require:

Valid ticket presentation
Identity verification
Security screening
Compliance with venue policies

Venue operators may refuse entry for safety, security, or regulatory reasons. Late arrivals may experience restricted entry depending on event policies. Re-entry after exiting the venue may remain restricted depending on the organizer's rules.

10. Security and Conduct

Event venues may conduct security checks, including bag inspections and identity verification. Prohibited items may include:

Recording equipment
Laser devices
Hazardous objects
External food or beverages

Violating venue rules may result in removal from the venue without a refund. Security procedures comply with UAE public safety regulations and venue security protocols.

11. Data Protection and Privacy

Someone's Ticket processes personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection (PDPL). Personal data collected during ticket purchases may include:

Name
Contact information
Payment data
Ticket transaction records

Personal data may be shared with event organizers solely for purposes related to event administration and entry validation. Full details regarding personal data processing are available in the Platform's Privacy Policy.

12. Platform Security and Fraud Prevention

Someone's Ticket uses digital ticket security tools, including:

Encrypted ticket generation
QR-based ticket validation
Fraud detection algorithms
Transaction monitoring systems

Tickets obtained through unauthorized sources may become invalid. Users should only purchase tickets through official Someone's Ticket channels.

13. Liability Limitations

Someone's Ticket remains responsible for the operation of the ticketing platform and ticket issuance. Someone's Ticket does not assume responsibility for:

Event quality
Event program content
Performer participation
Venue conditions
Organizer operational decisions

Liability related to event execution rests solely with the event organizer.

14. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Platform, including software, design, ticket security systems, and branding, remain the property of Someone's Ticket or its licensors. Unauthorized copying, scraping, or reproduction of ticketing systems remains prohibited.

15. Communication and Notifications

Someone's Ticket may send notifications related to:

Ticket purchases
Event updates
Event cancellations or postponements
Customer service communications

Marketing communications require user consent in accordance with the UAE electronic communications regulations. Users may withdraw marketing consent at any time.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The laws of the United Arab Emirates govern this Agreement. Any disputes arising from ticket purchases or the use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE. Where applicable, disputes may be referred to consumer protection authorities under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection.

17. Agreement Acceptance

Completion of a ticket purchase through the Platform constitutes confirmation that the user:

Has reviewed this Agreement
Understands the applicable ticketing policies
Agrees to comply with all event rules and platform policies

Acceptance occurs electronically at the moment of purchase confirmation.
